Sports Physiotherapy & Physiotherapy
Whether you want to take preventive measures for your body to better cope with the challenges of everyday life, need professional support in sports, or require rehabilitation therapy due to an accident, surgery, a chronic illness, or similar limitations, our physiotherapists are happy to assist you.
Lymphatic Drainage
Unfortunately, it is often considered a “stepchild,” but it is a therapy form with high potential that can often be applied much earlier (usually directly after surgery, trauma, etc.) than other therapies. It is very gentle, does not cause pain, positively affects healing, and can significantly reduce the side effects of edema (“swelling”), such as pain and restrictions in movement.
Shiatsu - The Energy of Touch
SHIATSU is a holistic form of body therapy originating from Japan, which combines the knowledge of Western medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Eastern life philosophy. Through deep and gentle pressure using the thumbs, palms, elbows, or knees along specific pathways in the body, known as meridians, muscle and connective tissue are loosened and revitalized. Tensions and adhesions are released. Through stretching and rotations of the joints, the connections in the body become perceptible again, creating a sense of “wholeness.”
SHIATSU positively affects the autonomic nervous system through very mindful and deep touch. It induces a parasympathetic state, resulting in deep muscle relaxation, deep breathing, and a calm heartbeat. SHIATSU helps us become aware of old body and reaction patterns, allowing us to change them and dissolve any blockages that have formed. We reconnect with our body, our feelings, and our mind, experiencing ourselves as a unity. We can feel our life energy again, feel more balanced, and handle difficult situations with greater ease and composure.
SHIATSU supports those suffering from musculoskeletal pain, headaches and migraines, restlessness, and accompanies individuals through psychotherapeutic processes and challenging life situations.
SHIATSU during Pregnancy
During the special time of pregnancy, a woman’s body and mind require special attention to process the significant and minor changes effectively. Shiatsu supports women during this time, alleviating typical pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, heartburn, vomiting, back pain, tension, sciatica, swollen arms and legs, or issues with an emotional background. Each phase of pregnancy is addressed with consideration, allowing the woman to relax, recover, and prepare optimally for childbirth. In the last weeks before delivery, specific techniques and acupuncture points are used to prepare the body for the birthing process. If desired, exercises can be taken home that can also involve the partner.
Paraffin
The paraffin bath for hands and feet is a form of heat treatment and is particularly indicated for arthrosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and rheumatic diseases. Unfortunately, it is still offered far too rarely, but its effectiveness for patients is unparalleled. Therefore, we also provide you with this treatment option. The most common areas of application are: arthrosis, chronic rheumatic diseases of the hands and feet, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Occupational therapy (in German “Ergotherapie”)
Occupational therapy accompanies and supports people of all ages who are limited in their daily lives due to an injury, accident, or illness. The goal of occupational therapy is to achieve the greatest possible independence in daily life. Occupational therapy empowers individuals to perform individual and meaningful daily activities, particularly in the field of orthopedics, focusing on conditions and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Possible therapy topics include pain management, training of the sensorimotor skills of the hand and arm (coordination, mobility, strength, etc.), training of gross and fine motor skills, training of daily activities, splint provision, joint protection consultations, health promotion and disease prevention, home adaptation, and provision of assistive devices.
Healing massage
Healing massage enhances well-being and relieves tension. Healing massage also addresses your health impairments, treating painful conditions at their source, and is a good and effective combination with physiotherapy for many medical conditions.
Pelvic Floor Training
Pelvic floor training, also known as Kegel exercises, is designed to strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor. It is beneficial for young mothers, women with bladder and bowel weakness, for alleviating back pain, and much more.
Who is it for?
Young mothers (starting from the 9th month after childbirth), women with bladder and bowel weakness, those dissatisfied with their pelvic floor tension in daily life, and those experiencing back pain and prolapse.
Osteopathy
The fundamental idea of osteopathy is the functioning of the human body as a unit, its ability for self-regulation and self-healing, as well as the interplay of structure and function. If there is a restriction of movement in a body structure or fluid (such as the bony skeleton, muscles, fascia, internal organs, skull, etc.), it can disrupt the body’s function and, in the short or long term, lead to illness. The osteopath identifies such disruptive blockages and resolves them using appropriate manual techniques. Often, structures cause discomfort in other areas – for example, internal organs frequently represent the cause of pain in the musculoskeletal system. The crucial aspect of osteopathy is the treatment of the structure causing the discomfort – not just the noticeable symptoms.
Feldenkrais®
Feldenkrais® is a body-oriented learning method named after its founder, Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais (1904–1984). As a physicist and judo master, he developed this method to help realize human potential by using movement to enhance body awareness and self-image.
The Feldenkrais® Method is practiced in two forms:
Awareness Through Movement® (ATM): In group lessons, the Feldenkrais® practitioner verbally guides participants through sequences of movements. These lessons focus on aspects such as movement sensation and quality.
Functional Integration® (FI): This is practiced one-on-one. Typically performed while lying down, the practitioner uses gentle touch and precise movements to explore the individual’s movement patterns. New movement options can be discovered, leveraging the nervous system’s capacity for functional adaptation. This process engages all physical and mental aspects—movement, thought, feeling, sensation, and perception. The lessons enhance movement competence and can improve aspects such as ease and fine motor skills.
Feldenkrais® supports:
Pain reduction (e.g., lower back, neck, joints), especially for chronic pain
Improving movement competence, e.g., after illnesses or surgeries
Rehabilitation for neurological disorders
Managing autoimmune diseases, including multiple sclerosis
Self-care, e.g., during stress or challenging life phases
Complementing psychotherapy and psychosomatic conditions
I offer one-on-one Functional Integration® sessions at the Therapy and Medical Center.

Special therapies
High-Tone Therapy
High-tone therapy uses a medium-frequency alternating current that operates at high intensity with frequencies ranging from 3,000 to 34,000 Hz.
Effect: The current causes all charged particles to vibrate, which, in turn, sets the cellular structures into motion. This helps normalize metabolism and alleviate pain.
Dosage: The current is gradually increased until the patient experiences a pleasant tingling sensation (after some time, the sensation may disappear, which is normal).
Sensation: For patients who find the tingling unpleasant, the current can be adjusted to flow without a perceivable sensation. Despite the lack of feeling, the current still flows and remains effective.
Indications:
All types of polyneuropathies (PNP), Pain therapy, Spastic paresis or multiple sclerosis (patients report feeling more relaxed), Regeneration (physical and mental stress states), Diabetic patients, Ulcers
