After more than ten years of specialization in the field of endoprosthetics both domestically and abroad, I offer minimally invasive joint replacement treatments (endoprostheses) at an international level in the areas of hip, knee, and shoulder joints.
My additional personal focuses include joint-preserving keyhole surgery, namely arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder joints, as well as procedures involving the hand and foot.
Surgical treatments can be performed at my primary institution, Klinik Penzing (formerly Otto-Wagner-Spital) of the Vienna Health Association, or at affiliated hospitals in Vienna.
Conservative treatments such as kinesio taping, manual medicine, orthopedic pain therapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, or hyaluronic acid joint therapy can be provided in the practice.
As a private (non-contracted) physician, I have the opportunity to take sufficient time for you to explain your medical condition thoroughly and to develop a treatment plan together with you.
The musculoskeletal system is an extremely versatile and powerful instrument. Due to its complexity, its individual components are hardly ever consciously noticed. It is always perceived as a whole. However, if damage or functional impairment occurs, one suddenly becomes very aware of its parts.
My goal is to reintegrate your impaired functional unit so that the feeling of incompleteness disappears and you can once again perceive your body as a whole. To achieve this, I develop a treatment plan together with you, ranging from conservative methods to surgical interventions.
A special concern for me, after successful surgical treatment, is also adequate follow-up care.
Thanks to my contacts, I am able to organize early (pre-) rehabilitation for you postoperatively.
